The exhibition, which will last a period of 6 months, was created in response to the increasing interest in .MGX products in Asia, and will be the largest display of .MGX pieces ever shown in the region. The exhibition focuses on influential 3D creations, particularly pieces known for their power to inspire.

Die Ausstellung zeigt Objekte von Luc Merx, Holmer Schleyerbach und Uli Herres, welche während eines Forschungsaufenthaltes im Europäischen Keramikzentrum EKWC in s’Hertogenbosch / Niederlande entstanden sind. Durch experimentelles Arbeiten wurden Zusammenhänge zwischen Form und Produktionsprozess ausgelotet.

Based on previous research Luc Holmer and Uli have focussed on crucial geometrical principles in the design and production process. The relationship between drawing and object, between line and space becomes explicit in productionprocesses like extrusion and rotation. Starting with this trivial insight, they are searching for analogies in design and architecture between traditional craft, the geometry of historical profiles and computer based design.
